Presidential Handover Ceremony – Vidovdan, 2025.

Rotary Club Belgrade Terazije ceremoniously marked the presidential handover on Vidovdan, Saturday, June 28, at the beautiful Stojšić farmstead near Beška.

In the idyllic setting of the Vojvodina plains, Club President Nadica Mardjonović opened the event with a reflection on the past Rotary year, highlighting the achievements, unity, and humanitarian projects that defined her term. In keeping with tradition, the ceremony featured a symbolic moment – the presidential ribbon was officially passed on to the new Club President, Nikola Stojanović.

In his first address, President Stojanović thanked the members for their trust and announced the continued advancement of the Club’s work, with a particular focus on new, inspiring humanitarian initiatives and greater community engagement.

The symbolism of this transition was reflected in the ceremonial bell-ringing: the outgoing president traditionally opens the meeting with the strike of a bell, while the new president closes it in the same way – marking the transfer of responsibility and the continuity of the Club’s vision and values.

Following the official part of the event, members and guests enjoyed a relaxed and joyful gathering. With families, friends, and cheerful children running through nature and enjoying carriage rides, the day unfolded in a spirit of fellowship, Rotary camaraderie, and the joy of a new chapter ahead.
