On Tuesday, May 5, in the ceremonial hall of Hotel Constantine the Great, our Club had the honor of hosting the Governor of District 2483, Velisa Stamatovic. The meeting was also attended by our guest from Brazil, Dani R. Schultz, member of the Rotary Club Porto Alegre Norte, who had joined us the previous day as well.

Governor Stamatovic, as his visit came near the end of the Rotary year, presented the district’s activities during this period, as well as the challenges we face, particularly regarding the inactivity of certain clubs and members.

From our side, we introduced the Governor to the work of our Club, our completed projects, and our plans for the future. The evening unfolded in a pleasant atmosphere and constructive discussion, which we believe will open new opportunities for cooperation between our Club and the District, along with future humanitarian initiatives.
